Samsung DVD Home Cinema System HT-DS110 connect to tv help?
i have just got a new 32 Inch Nordmende series 5 Full HD 1080p LCD TV and we also have an old cinema system samsung HT-DS110 but i do not know how to set it up so the sound always comes from the cinema system i am not very good with home cinema system so please keep it Straight forward as possible ps.... i also have an xbox 360 so i would also like to use the system for that as well

I believe you want you DVD sound and Xbox sound to come from your theater system. So, use an HDMI or component(red,blue,green) cable to output your video to your tv. Connect you video from your Xbox directly to your tv. On your Xbox, there is a connection on the video cord piece at teh connection to the Xbox that allows sound from an optical cable, use an optical cable to connect your xbox sound to your theater system into Din1 or Din2 (I'm looking at the user manual for your theater system). Be sure to change your audio settings in your xbox to digital 5.1 surround sound. Help for the xbox on www.xbox.com to do this, but it will be under system settings, audio.
If all goes according to plan, choose your correct source on your tv and if using the Xbox, the correct source on your theater system, and voila! Surround sound!
