help with intergraded video card?
I will be installing a ge-force fx 5200 and was just wondering do in need to disable onboard video controller or can i use it for duel display.Intel 865 GV

From what I understand is that in bios there is two setting auto and onboard has long has it is set to auto then you can choose which one you what to use at any time.Is that true or not.I know the video card I am going to install match's my computer stats.
Yes, you can use your Ge-Force FX 5200. Make sure that in the BIOS, that the setting should be set to auto.
I recommend, however, to avoid potential problems is to uninstall the Intel Graphics drivers in Windows before you install your FX 5200. Go to Add/Remove Programs and look for an entry called "Intel Graphics Driver" or similar. Uninstall that.
When your computer boots up, it'll be kinda weird but don't worry about it. Go to this site and download the FX 5200 drivers (assuming you use XP):

Once installed, your computer should be good to go.
And no, you cannot switch back and forth (unless you want to do some time-consuming stuff). Also, you cannot use both of them for dual-display.
