Where and how would I get my brand new 42" Sharp Aquos flat screen TV fixed?

My 2 yr old hit the panal with a drumstick and left the panal with a cracked imagehe panal is the one thing the warranty does NOT cover. It would cost almost as much as the TV to fix by manufacturer.

You answered your own question, didn't you? It will cost just about as much to repair as to buy a new one! Solution: BUY A NEW ONE, with a new warranty.
If the easily damaged screen of an LCD is going to be a problem, look at plasma instead. Top brand plasma, dollar for dollar, is Panasonic. Good luck!
